Table rules

Decks8, reshuffled every hand
Blackjack pays6 to 5
Dealer on soft 17Hits
Hole cardNone. The dealer's second card comes after everyone plays. A dealer blackjack takes doubled and split bets too.
Double downOn 10 or 11, first two cards only, not after a split
SplitOnce. Split aces get one card each.
InsuranceNot offered
Cash outOn your turn, before your hand is over, you can take part of your bet back and walk away. The offer is the fair value of your hand against the dealer's card (what it is worth on average if you keep playing it right), minus 10% for the house. Bad hands get small offers: 16 against a 10 gives back about 38%, against an ace about 29%. Hands that are already winning on average get no offer. Not available after a double or a split.
21+3Your first two cards plus the dealer's card, read as a three-card poker hand. Suited trips 100 to 1 · straight flush 40 to 1 · three of a kind 30 to 1 · straight 10 to 1 · flush 5 to 1. A-2-3 and Q-K-A count as straights. House edge 3.70%, any win about 1 in 10.
Perfect PairsYour first two cards. Perfect pair (same suit) 25 to 1 · coloured pair (same colour) 12 to 1 · mixed pair 6 to 1. House edge 4.10%.
Side bet limitsUp to half the table maximum each, only together with a main bet. They are paid as soon as the cards are dealt.
House edge2.57% with perfect basic strategy (return to player 97.43%), measured over 2,000,000 simulated hands. Side bet edges are exact for 8 decks.
Table entry0.50 USDC on Solana, once per seat. Chips have no cash value.

How we shuffle

  1. Before every hand we draw a 32-byte secret seed from the server's cryptographic generator and show you its SHA-256. That fingerprint binds us: if we changed the seed later, the fingerprint would not match.
  2. Every seated player picks a client seed. At the deal they are joined, one per seat, separated by dots, so neither the server nor any player can set up the shoe.
  3. With HMAC-SHA256(server_seed, "seeds:hand:round") we draw 32-bit numbers and shuffle 8 decks (416 cards) with Fisher-Yates. Numbers that would add modulo bias are thrown away, so every order is equally likely.
  4. Cards come off the top in order: one to each seat, one to the dealer, a second to each seat, then every card players ask for, seat by seat, and finally the dealer's. When the hand ends we reveal the seed and you can rebuild it all here.

The whole code

This is the exact file this page runs. The server uses the same logic in PHP; both produce the same shoe, card by card.
